Forget about what the money is used for and ask yourself is it in YOUR values to sell wildlife to the highest bidder?
Azgfd's stance is the practice of selling wildlife to the highest bidder does not follow the North American conservation model. I agree according to the 7 interdependent...
LOL, or subtract the raffle revenue from typical auction revenue and then add 1$ to each hunting application to make up the difference? I mean, there were 180,000+ applications received just for Elk and Antelope in 2024. The sky is not falling and conservation projects will continue I promise...
Tikka, rokstock and trijicon. Its the only accurate repeatable combo on rokslide. If you splurge put a nightforce on it. If you want a poverty scope put a swfa on it.
Your example makes 0 sense..... You are forgetting about all the APP fees. A better comparison would be amount of raffle sheep $$$ vs. Auction sheep $$$.
Seems as tho AZGFD has conceded that they will indeed lose a little bit of money in the first few years, but anticipate possibly closing...
If it isn't a nightforce or Trijicon, it will not hold zero. Hahaha. The leg wetters on this site are comical. Plenty of good suggestions on here so far. I have had great success with Zeiss scopes and their optical clarity is amazing for the $.
Azgfd basically said letting a wealthy individual buy tags does not fit the North American model.
I like it and think over the years the loss of $$ gap will close. Don't forget, the money raised doesn't go to just hunting projects. They also manage condors, suckers, lizards and lots of...
stop beating a guy up on his pricing. Chances are, the ones complaining are the ones in need... Move along and let the free market run. If it is too high for this site, it will not sell. On gun broker, it would be almost half price and would certainly sell. I literally just bought some and...
Talk you out of it on Rokslide?? Haha. Pretty soon, you will have a rokstock on it and either a nightforce or trijicon scope on it.
If you ever see a guy packed in 10 miles, I bet he will have a rokstock tikka wearing a trijicon.
I have a ram 2500 right now but seriously considering going to a 1500. I test drove both the 6.2 and 3.0 in a GMC. My pops has had a '23 6.2 for a couple years and it's been 34,000 trouble free, but his avg. Is only 15 mpg. The 3.0l seems nice but has its own downfalls. Decisions
The "ish" part is price of fuel. It has been anywhere from $3"ish" to $5 "ish" Same with actual mileage driven, it can vary +/- 20%. Averages are as spoken tho.
Math is hard for some people. I drive a 2500 and spend 600$ a month on fuel. Average 300ish miles a week. If I get a new pickup, the most I would save is roughly 300$ but most likely closer to 250$ a month. Overall, after insurance and extra maintenance of another vehicle, that number gets...
