Fit's in my AGC just fine. I can't access the site right now to check which model I'm running but it has the side, front and bottom pouches. Bought to house 8x42 Ultra's or 10x42 EL Range....12 NL's with headrest fill the void fully but still work 100%.
Previous....but my view (obviously opinion only) it would be highly unlikely that anything with RF function could touch them. Someone has to pay.
If they could jam a RF in the NL's without image loss I'd replace mine in a snap.
Same...I have both and will sell the 15's (SLC). They are redundant in my line up.
The 15's bring things closer but I can see more detail with the 12's. NL's are the best glass I've looked through....no contest.
I'll use the 12's now where I would have had my 8's (Ultravids) &...
I own both (NL's & latest gen SLC)...I find the 15's get you closer but the 12's let me resolve more. The 12's are also lightweight, fit in any standard bino harness and can pull double duty for stalking and glassing sessions. I bush hunt with 8's and would pick them over the 12's unless I'm on...
Here;s mine in 7x65R (and 8x57R)....you are correct a 7x64 is a rare beast in a klippauf, but in a modern action like the Blaser you can run the 7x65R at 7x64 pressures.
Be careful, you won't want any other rifle after it arrives. Eye wateringly expensive, but worth every damn cent.
I have mine in 8x57R & 7x65R. A Hornet tube and maybe a 6.5x57R is on the cards.
I own both the Z6 & Z6i in 1.7-10x42 with the 4A reticle...the illuminated model is my pick any day for any hunting. The dot helps draw your eye to the centre when it's bright out and who doesn't hunt at dawn and dusk? Well worth the extra coin for me.
The batteries last forever (turns off when...
I have narrow feet and have always been happy with the fit from Zamberlan's. It took a while to find out but I don't bother looking at any other brand now. That said if I didn't have Zamberlan's available I'd just give Lathrop & Sons a call.
G'day
I received a forehead rest today for my NL 12's and set about fitting it. The instructions are basic as the job is straight forward.
Pop out the grub screws and press fit the rest. I noticed the size discrepancy between the shoulder on the screws and the shafts on the rest. The rest...
I did two sets of cuff links from Sambar ivories.
One set when to a mate who took me to his secret spot and got me onto my first proper Sambar stag and one set to my Dad who was with me when we got my 2nd high country stag.
I found them to be consistently lethal and having them up the spout gives me options to drop an animal from any angle.
Like for like I'll happily recognise they are not as good as cup & cores for lung shots but I have never lost an animal on a lung shot with a mono (or any shot for that...
Southern hemisphere is going into autumn now so plenty of hunts just around the corner for me.
Swapped already
Swaro 15's to NL 12's
Pocket Rocket to Soto Windmaster
Ran the 44 Mag last year, probably going back to the Bikini and Highcamp 48 for steep, deep and nasty hunts.
MSR Dromlite (really...

A good point I forgot to mention and someone else touched on is the non-slip nature of a EVA foam mat. Tyvek, poly or DCF are good and well until you are sleeping on any kind of slope. EVA mats really assist with fighting gravity...
It's in 8x57IRS (rimmed 8x57). It usually spits out a 160gr TTSX, 200 NP or something from Woodleigh Bullets. Due to the design of the K95 (it can handle Weatherby pressures) I get fps numbers the same as a bolt gun with 8x57 handloads. And it's capable of shooting smaller groups than I can, if...
