Sheep Show

It is a pretty cool show. It is what you make of it. There is definitely a very clear group of insiders that are giddy to pat each other on the back and pass out awards to each other. I go mainly for the drawings and the slight chance of winning a sheep hunt. I like seeing the few outfitters...

Hunted with them twice. Sheep and moose. Great people and great operation. Can't wait to go back someday.

The hunting consortium

Spain Ibex hunting

The pricing you see on the auction list is the base price, then I think you are charged per cm above a certain threshold. I hunted with an A1 North permit. You can see that if you don't really care about trophy size, they can be a pretty cheap hunt.

Spain Ibex hunting

It all depends on what Ibex you are looking for. I've only hunted Gredos in the Reserve. That hunt is literally a walk in the park. One thing that many foreign hunters don't realize is that when hunting on a government reserve you will be guided by 1-2 local wardens in addition to the outfitter...

Need a stone sheep cape

I've been able to find a couple listed here and there but nothing that matches my ram. I'd rather hold out and get something close. So the search continues. Thanks for the advice, I'll explore all possible avenues.

Tannery destroyed my cape. If anyone out there has a cape (for shoulder mount) or know someone who might please let me know. I know its a long shot, but I have to give it a try. thank you renaugle at gmail .com
