Guide tip on a elk hunt

Coming from a guide, tip based on his skill, attitude and general knowledge of the elk and area. Like it or not we need the tip money and depend on it, kind of a shitty deal but it is the culture. I have been tipped like shit for a great hunt and tipped crazy amounts for mediocre hunts, I just...

Ozonics/Ozone generator and clothing in the treestand

Ozone is the only scent control measure I have seen work, yes it is limited in an open air environment but I have absolutely seen it work. Mouth Call Building

A good friend of mine builds calls for several companies, he has a press of course and an air powered cutter. The cut's are pretty simple, good sharp scissors like a fly tying type scissor. Wish I had more tips, I have watched him a lot but have no clue technically, he makes me a bunch every year.

Is the Expen$$$ive Turkey ammo worth it?

I travel all over the country every spring for a couple months hunting and guiding. I hand load my own TSS so I can shoot a light weight sub gauge gun. On a good year I will kill 10 birds personally, so 60$ for ammo is pretty much a non factor, could I kill them with 20$ worth of ammo, most of...
