    Swaro NL 8x42 and 12x42?

    Is there enough difference between these two binos to ever justify owning both? (say, the 8s would be for archery, tighter terrain, more hand-holding and the 12s would be for bigger country and lots of time on a tripod?)     Can Colorado OTC Elk Last Forever?

    Sure seems like NR hunters are big business for both state wildlife departments (licenses/tags) and local businesses (hotels, t-shirts, bars, etc) these days. CO still seems somewhat reasonable with their tag prices (unlike what WY did with it's special draw).

    For medium-range glassing, 15x NL Pure's would seem like the single best option possible. (I have the 12x and like coyote, could love them more)

    AZ elk unit

    I'll second the glass comment. I had the 22N late archery tag this year. The elk were either pretty close where you almost didn't need binos, or really far away on a distant hillside.
