    That is a nice bull AK ! Getting him out of that soft wet location would have been rough. The Leopold 10X42 binoes will be just fine. If you had 12X it would be the best of both worlds. Anything more than that and you would definatly need a tripod.

    There were 12,000 vehicles stolen in Toronto just in 2023. Most of them get shipped to Montreal and loaded in to containers and shipped over seas. The feds are just sitting back and allowing this to happen. Catch and release program going on in Canada. Sad !

    Vortex sent me a new pair of Vortex 8x42 Viper HD binoculars. I would be willing to trade you for the Kababs along with whatever money you think would make up the difference. 8X just doesnt allow me to see the whitetails sneaking out at last light from 900 yards away. Hopefully the Kaibabs would.

    Hunted this guy for two years. My buddy got him. He went from a double droptine on one side to a double droptine on both sides the following year. I made a set of reproductions when he was a single droptine to a double droptine. We were able to find the sheds by scouring a 1000 acre boundary.

    I too am worried about theft. X2 on putting cable on too tight. Put out a couple hanging stands that I couldent take chains off of. Trees grew too much and tightened the chains so bad, had to use bolt cutters to remove a link.
