A lot of great outfitters in NM. Call early and buy a landowner tag and hunt. If you sit around thinking about it or listening to what guys on the internet say about the prices being too high when you finally decide to go LO tags will probably be long gone.
I got the email. I think I’m going to GIAI for the price. My friend has it and it seems every bit as good as onX. I don’t need all the bells and whistles onX claims they have. Way points, tracks and a map is all I ever use anyway.
I saw a clip of Tyson smoking a cigarette and saying he gave them up for the fight. After about two rounds Jake Paul will knock Tyson all over the ring. If it goes two rounds. In 1985 Tyson in 1.
Those Archery tags in that unit don’t come along very often especially for a non res.
The drop camp can get squirrely. The outfitter going to pack you in can get a call for a fully guided hunt or hunts for the same time, gets real busy and then you’re out and the money hunts are in.
I know...
Yes sir water and chapstick !! Some years it will rain every afternoon, sometimes it will flat pour down big at night, thunder and lightning and some years “no rain at all” If it’s raining everyday have a cover on your pack or it will get soaked and so will everything in it !! If you don’t...
Glassing is good especially if you are looking for a trophy bull it will save you the pain of crossing a big canyon only to find out you’re not going to shoot that bull. In some places in NM you can see for miles. Bulls will be bugling in the rut, watch for cows when you’re getting close. ...
I’ve got a 2021 F350 with a 6.7 powerstroke and the wife has a 22 Tacoma. At 6’ 2” the Tacoma is tight to squeeze into and the F350 gets as good fuel mileage as the Tacoma does. The Tacoma is a handy little grocery getter and two track hunting truck but I’d never go on a trip with it.
I’ve seen many 300” bulls go down, that’s not really a big deal in a
lot of places in NM. A lot of guys show up wanting a 350+ Now that’s a whole different ball game.
I’ve been buying top of the line boots for hunting in NM rough terrain for a long time and I used to have to tape my feet up to keep from getting blisters.
Ever since I started using Smart Wool socks I don’t need to tape up anymore. I’ve tried a lot of different socks but the Smart Wools have...
I bought a new Honda Foreman 450 in 2003 . I keep up with the little maintenance it requires and it runs like it did when I bought it. Great ATV. I would buy another Honda in a heartbeat!
