Hello,
looking for some input into a new Rain jacket. Ive used an arcteryx alpha sv and been happy with it, but after warrantying my last alpha sv, seeing arcteryx's new prices, hideous colors, and thinking (probably too much) about UV brighteners, Im considering other options, specifically the...
I didn't hear any of the whining you're talking about. He mentioned omce or twice people killing alot of animals per year (people with $$$ and guides) related to the fact that they need content for social media. As a result they diminish access opportunities for the rest of us.
After listening to his podcast and the explanation episode, I think he has some very good points. The hunting product industry is often full of bs and does not have the best interestsof hunters or conservationin mind. The if you buy sitka stop listening to this podcast comment was obviously a...
I know several kayak and backpacking guides who have been using them for years. Bit of a luxury item, of course have a separate headlamp, but they are nice for a group basecamp type scenario.
Hello fine citizens of Rokslide. I have an EMR2. I use it for day and multi day hunts. l love the versatility and it seems to do the job for a one bag to rule them all type situation.
It is a bit strappy. I'm debating whether or not to mod my EMR2 (zipper to connect the wings) or sell it and...
Hello. 2 questions.
I want to check what size the shoulder straps on my old Gen 2 tactical duplex frame are, as I have never gotten them to fit well. What's the best way to tell? I don't see a size tag on them.
Also are new duplex shoulder straps compatible with a gen 2 tactical frame?
Thanks...
Im wondering why seek outside packs arent more popular? They seem to be lightweight, well designed, and cheaper than many other high end options, but I dont hear them being discussed with the same vigor as some of the other brands.
My 2010 mathews monster xlr8 (25 inch draw 65#, 26" arrow) is tearing hard left. Underspine is doubtful as I tried various arrows (300s and 350s), with less point weight, turning my bow weight all the way down, moving the rest, and nothing helped. I know my form isn't perfect but I tried a few...
No 100 gr seemed inconsistent. I was hoping to notice a pattern with higher FOC. My arrows are pretty stiff with a 350 spine and less than 25" arrow, but the xlr8 is a beast. So harsh.
So I'm a weirdo with a 25" draw shooting a mathews monster xlr8 (360FPS IBO) @ approx 63#.
I've been using carbon express mayhem hunters @ 350 spine (on the high side of the recommended spine chart) cut to 24.625". Was shooting 100 gr heads, trying 150 gr now. I've had a hell of a time getting...
