How much torque for cross slot ring do I really need?

I run Talley QDs in a dovetail config (11mm) and shoot full grain .45-70s with it. I only finger tighten the Talley levers. Pretty sure I'm barely reaching 60, if that. I've never had one loosen and many rounds at the range. The forces are not operating in such a way on the rings from recoil...

NY CCW law held to be unconstitutional

Ummm...I see you've not had an arrest on a weapons charge before. But, nice try!

NY CCW law held to be unconstitutional

Same as it ever was. One rarely "resolves" anything.

    Wow, Craigslist opportunity

Oh THAT one for sure smacks of a scam.

And as Gov Wallace told them in the deseg days: "SCOTUS made their law, now let them enforce it". SCOTUS has NO enforcement arm/mechanism.

It's all just one giant Kabuki theater. And we are unwitting spectators.

NY CCW law held to be unconstitutional

About Miranda (the rights, not the pregnant girl who is considering whether to abort), the cops don't HAVE to give it to you. They just can't expect to later use against you in court what they obtained without the warning. Often, that info is obtainable otherwise anyway. Sounds like the court...

NY CCW law held to be unconstitutional

Actually, you typically have to "admit" the original charges were justified/supported. Creates the same result, however.

    Wow, Craigslist opportunity

It's "information". It's a commodity. Google makes a bit off it, I hear. Why shouldn't the everyman?

Man, I do see that as a potentially risky one. Sure hope it wins if it goes up.

    SITKA Ambient Collection

Sure, if you refuse to learn how to use the zips on BS. You most certainly did not "miss anything", IMO. The face fabrics are different. This is not to say that pertex is "not breathable". It is the original, old school uncoated pertex. I've been well served and pleased with the BS. It works...

Like Brynje. And the wool ones aren't always the "right" ones. Sometimes you want the poly (ie high humidity situations).

But she lives in FL now and apparently may have changed her tune. If so, I welcome her to the "right side" of the debate. Just wish she'd infested another state.

    Wow, Craigslist opportunity

About like people selling LORAN (yes, LORAN, not GPS) coordinates in the days before virtually every offshore pothole was mapped and available for free somewhere. I knew people who had huge notebooks full of points they had bought over the years. And we caught A LOT of fish on them.

    SITKA Ambient Collection

If I were going to use the Sitka, I'd use Brynje bases under it. Which is what I use (when needed IMO) under my Buffalo gear.

    SITKA Ambient Collection

Why, so we can argue it to the point of a dead horse? And, I never said they "resembled" each other. The Sitka interior seems clearly to be some version/iteration of "pile" that's been around forever. Sitka bumps a "breathable" face while BS uses pertex to get a "waterproof" effect, with stated...

https://apnews.com/article/us-supreme-court-gun-politics-new-york-violence-kathy-hochul-ebe58ea297c154a25a62650dec935529 Hochul's already on the move. I didn't realize the NY law was over 100 years old! So 100 years of breaking the law and infringing rights by NY. I'd expect reparations if I...

NY CCW law held to be unconstitutional

Well, I live in Florida too--all my life. Hope she changed her views when she arrived. But, I doubt it. I'm pretty sure it's a defense if you're a local and you punch an out of state libtard who starts a sentence with: "That's not how we do it in (state X)".
