    Suppressor wait times

I ordered a scythe ti (backordered) through a local gun shop on December 27th. Backorder still not filled and still have not been able to submit paperwork as we don't have a SN 😞. Sounds like sico is spending all their energy on warranty issues

    16.5” .243 or 6.5CM?

What did you decide on and have you had the gunsmith work done/shot it?

    Sold Maven RF1

Maven RF1 rangefinder. Its pretty incredible how far/fast this think can range. I got December 2022 so only used it this hunting season. Mostly just carried it around in a hib belt pouch. Original battery is still full. Looking for 350 shipped. I will post pics soon

Yeah I was hoping for 100 so that tracks. The bolt cost blows my mind though. That's the kicker

WTS Tikka 243 takeoff and left handed bolt -interest check

Any interest in a 243win 1:8 takeoff and left handed tikka bolt? I'm trying to build a 223 tikka in left handed since they seem unatainium. Wondering how much $$ I could recoup selling factory takeoffs so I can buy a 223 bolt and a prefit To be clear, I don't have anything for sale yet,just...

Left hand tikkas, does 223 rem exist?

Also frustrating, it looks like I can't get a left in blued/synthetic either. Have to go stainless at a minimum. Which is not bad, just more expensive.

Left hand tikkas, does 223 rem exist?

Does a 22-250 have enough freebore to run the heavies without being seated way down into the case?

Left hand tikkas, does 223 rem exist?

Euro optic has a SS 243 for 799 then the rebate brings it down to 725. Is that a pretty common price? Or a deal a guy shouldn't pass up?

Left hand tikkas, does 223 rem exist?

Bummer. Thanks for the info though. I was considering 6creed, but figured even a 16-17 inch 243 should get me enough distance

Left hand tikkas, does 223 rem exist?

Title says it all. Are 223 tikkas available In left handed? Im diving down the smaller cartridge rabbit hole and was hopping for a 223 for the economy and because I rarely shoot over 450yds. If no 223, I'm thinking a 243 1:8 is my best bet. It will be chopped down to 17 or so for a suppressor...

6mm /.243 hunting success on Big Game

I'm in MT, I would have to double check but I don't think there is a cal. restriction. Maybe I should just go 223? I suppose 6mm is better for wind, but then again maybe it does not matter much inside 500. From their respective threads ,it looks like wound channels are very similar between 223...

Best Pac Boot for Idaho Late Season Elk Hunting?

I've used pacs extensively. I highly recommend a insulated hunting boot. The crispi wildrock with 400gram insulation is by far wamer than any of the thinsulate lined pacs I've used by far and you can actually hike in them.

Soooo I’m thinking about .243- few questions

90gr AB shot well out of my wife's older vanguard 243 with a 10 twist barrel fyi. I'm thinking of dusting it off and trying a match bullet though. It shoots 95gr berger classic hunters very well too. May try a eldx or the 95gr NBT

6mm /.243 hunting success on Big Game

Thanks for the comparison. Close indeed. As are most centerfiee rifles inside 400 yds or so from what I recall. Thanks for posting 👍

6mm /.243 hunting success on Big Game

My question was in context of the 95 nbt. Reason being I've never shot an animal past about 450yds., and honestly don't currently have the ability to shoot over that. So if my shots on deer and elk are 95% under 300yds, is there any reason a person should go with say a 243 instead of a 223? The...
