2018 Late Season Alaska DIY. So much bad weather this year but finally made it happen with 48 hours left in the season. Was able to spread my dad’s ashes nearby on an incredible perch overlooking the valley and glacier.

Let’s see if this works, if it doesn’t I apologize, and if it does I will try to post more photos on the thread I had started. If it doesn’t work go to imgur.com and enter “Diddywahdiddy06” for photo album. Work has been super busy and I just finished my album and journaling.
Day 3 of “Phase Two”. Jon Barker, Ted Day and I had to backpack in our water and carefully weighed food/gear. Took over 2 hours after the deed was done. It was an “interesting traverse” to reach the old warrior after free fall off cliff.
Somewhere in vicinity of Wapshilla Ridge, Hell’s Canyon ID. Measured by outfitter & two biologists at 187 2/8” green gross B&C. At least 11 years old, maybe 13 years as lamb tips gone & two additional annular rings questionable. Rt length 38 6/8”; Lt length 40 6/8”.
    9/30/2018 about 11:30am.
We were tired but beyond happy. I just keep up w Barker, pull the trigger and don’t blow the moment. I am so fortunate to hunt with such good teachers. Ram #7 for our teams. Hope the picture is attached.

It works! I will begin posting photos as I have many pics of scenery, other rams, spotting scope pics and “through riflescope” pics...of other rams.

My second submission for 2018 and another "unconventional" sheep. Mouflon Ram, taken earlier this week. Free range, DIY, public land. After 3 years of trying I finally arrowed a mature ram.

for those who've asked for an extension to this contest for the December hunts, what we'll probably do is allow you to enter those in the 2019 contest. Someone help me remember when I post the contest next summer I said this!

We'll be closing this thread in the next few days, so get your entry in.

After drawing my first sheep tag for the TMA this year, I was able to take my 12th Dall sheep on a solo walk-in hunt!
