I spent nearly 20 nights in this shelter system in a variety of weather from cold & snow to hot & windy this last fall. Here are my thoughts on Seek Outside’s backcountry shelter system.

Also, Seek Outside is launching a new tent, the Cimarron tent:

As part of Rokslide’s Camp Month, Seek Outside has generously donated one Cimarron for giveaway! Here are the contest rules, follow closely:

1) Go to Seek Outside’s Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/SeekOutside
2) Find the post on the Rokslide/Seek Outside Cimarron giveaway (depending on when you read this, you might have to scroll down that page a bit. Look for the post shared from Roklide as that is the post you enter to win the Cimarron on)
3) Like then Share that post
4) Final Step is to comment on the post on Seek Outsides Facebook page on what you’d use the Cimarron for this season if you won

I’ll conduct the drawing at the end of Camp Month around April 20[SUP]th[/SUP]. Check back to this thread then to see if you won. I’ll post the winner’s FB account name. You’ll have 10 days to claim your prize or it will be forfeited.

Tipi seems like a better setup than a tent for more than two. Like the quilt as Im hammock hunting again this season solo.

elkeater, I'd love to visit them sometime, have only talked to Angie and Kevin on the phone. Every time I call they're working on SO gear so they must be busy. Are you in Grand Junction?

A fix back east
Just set up my 8-man the first time this weekend. I can already tell it's going to make overnights in bad weather a thousand times better.
