if your not set on aa batteries, the fenix cl09 + cr123 battery is 50g total vs 57 for the nitecore, and the runtime will be way better. 6 hours @ 40 lumens for the nitecore, 36 hours at 30 lumens for the fenix, not apples to apples since the modes don't have same exact output, but you get the idea.
