WTS 10 YR Old Buckskin Quarter Horse

Hello Horse Hunters, After much thought, I have decided to sell my Buckskin Quarter Horse to follow new endeavors. Thought I would offer him here first to someone who would use him for what he has been trained for….mountain hunting. Monty is a 15 hh - 10 year old grade that has been used in the mountains for both riding and packing. He has no issues with being around carcasses and stands while loading. Monty is light in the mouth, rides from leg ques and is well trained in pressure and release. He spends his fall in our remote camps and stands tied to tree, on a highline or hobbled while feeding. Monty is confident with both soft and hard paniers on Decker saddles. Easy with his feet while cleaning or shoeing. It is quite often due to his gentle nature and coloring he is he receives much attention around the barn. Anyways, looking for a good hunting home. $9,500.00. Located in Coeur d Alene Idaho.
