131 Ace Terminal Performance

I'm looking at a rebarrel for my Tikka 300 WSM. Going to do a short action magnum in 257, 6.5 or 7mm.
The 131 Ace really intrigues me. I've been close to jumping on board a couple of times, but I'm a little unsure about the bullet's design for terminal performance. It has an awful lot in common with other match bullets that not the best hunting bullets (no void in the nose, pointed tip, etc).
Does anyone have any terminal experience to share? Seems like there are quite a few 25 cal builds on the forums now.

I'm interested in the same bullet but kind of have the same conclusion as you. I think the eldx would be a good choice. Significantly lower bc though, .234 g7 vs .33something of the ace.

Berger hunting vld would be another good choice if youre into them. .466 g1. Pretty proven bullets.

I’ve ran the 131 ace for awhile now out of a 25SST at 3270 fps. They work great on hogs and deer especially when you run a .019” pin drill bit in the tips to clean them out.
