I am trying to plan a hunt for my dad and I. It will be our first time doing a hunt out west. I’m from Michigan. I am wondering what I can expect as far as utv trails and roadside camping? I don’t mind rough terrain. I am willing to work for it. I have been e-scouting the cow creek oben creek area over to wetterhorn basin and the east fork of the cimarron river. I have also been looking north of there a little ways also. Having a hard time figuring out where to focus. I am trying to fumble through. I don’t want to waste time if that area is a complete dud. Any help would be great. Not asking for honey holes just a push in the right direction.
