Picked up a BG Dual Trac to put on my V3X 33. Normally use a 4 pin horizontal pin slider but have always shot better with the vertical pins. Now I'm trying to decide on distances for the two pins. Was originally thinking 25 and 40 and gap shoot for distances in between. Anybody else with a similar setup (BG, SH, etc) with two pins and mind sharing their pin setup for elk/western hunting?

I have the SH double pin pins are not adjustable so with my arrows there’s 15 yards difference between the 2. I’m thinking I’ll set my slider at 30 for the top and which Will put my second pin at 45. Should be covered for anything close, if an animal is farther I can just dial the yardage

I always shoot my top pin at 27 yards. I set my second pin on my dual trac at 37 and that seems to cover things pretty well. There’s a little overlap if I have to gap shoot (aim high with top pin at 35 vs aiming low with second pin) but I want to dial the yardage precisely if I’m shooting past 40 anyway.
