So a 7-08 will go 20,000 rounds??
It'll go a helluva lot longer than a short barreled 28 Nos. You're making the assumption that the 28Nos in that setup will go 800 rds. It may, it may not. Every barrel is different and you know that.

I agree, but that wasn't brought up as a requirement. 28 Nosler isn't easy on barrels at any length.
Amen to that. I've got a couple. Certainly not going out and burning N570 for fun these days with them. I wanna see the numbers on the 20" with a can, but in the meantime I'll keep killing stuff with my 7-08s for a song compared to the hot rods.

No mention of the 7SAUM? It's gaining traction again, shorter barrels shooting the heavy's (175-180).

I finally found some 7 SAUM brass the other day. On Gunbroker with a buy it now price of $349….for 50.

Seriously, I’d be building a 7 SAUM right now if I could find 200-300 pieces of brass. At a reasonable price that is, not $7 per.

Oof, yea that seems to be the struggle these last couple years. Every now and then I see Unknown Munitions post something about having brass, but its not often.

Why not a 7-300 wsm? Adg 300 wsm brass is supposed to hit the shelves in two weeks

Gotta wonder what logic they used for that when a 300 PRC needs 22" but a 26 nosler is good with 18" and a 7STW is good with 16"? A smaller case in a 308 bore needs more barrel length than bigger cases in a 264 and 284?
And I'm sure a couple inches one way or the other will make zero difference for suppressor life with a slow fired hunting rifle.
