No company is perfect but I have had nothing great experience w/Drop on a number of purchases.

You are implying that Drop had control of a person that made an illegal purchase with your information? Did that person somehow get control of your login ID and password, take over your account, change your shipping address to their shipping address and use your credit card information you had stored on the site?

My guess is that it is BY FAR more likely that the perp got hold of your credit card information somewhere else and then used it on Drop, in which case the problem should be fixed by your credit card company and Drop has no control of that.

Yes that is what happened. And I never caught it the first time. The second time I did. It had been too long for the bank to help so as usual the average Joe foots the bill for a crook. Not a credit card but my debit card.

If your debit card carries the Visa or Mastercard logo you have 6 months from the date of purchase to dispute the charge.
