I have a 2007 (I think) zeiss 65mm Diascope. When I bought from Doug at Camerland he had me buy a lightweight packing tripod to go with it.
Been a great combo, but it's not great in the wind....looking for a heavy, quick set up tripod to use on short hikes and out of the vehicle.
Bought a SLIK Pro S330SVH today at Sportsmans. Came with the 6502 quick detach plate, with 1/4x20 screw. According to literature, the Zeiss has a 1/4x20 and 3/8x16 screw hole.
However....the screw on the plate absolutely does not fit in the smaller hole, and it's too small for the bigger hole.
Ideas??
