Man's best friend deserves a new thread. Post a picture of your pup(s) in the field or elsewhere. The more the merrier.

Here's Walker Texas Ranger at 10 months:

Bella our chocolate Lab. It's kind of hard to see her in the second pic, but she's right there at our side. Actually three of my best hunting friends are in that second picture.

I like this thread! Here is a pic of my malamute Kenai. I think he is also on my profile pic. He goes everywhere I do, even hunting.

Mans best friend......sometimes, but he was chewing on my leg the last time we were training with some.

At least his handler was coming over to get his dog off, my team mates just watched.

Good puncture in front and good one in back.

Maybe a scar for both, it was only about two weeks ago so still fresh. The trainING was Open Area SKIDDS / SWAT Training.

SKIDDS is a fancy acron for deploying K9's with SWAT in certain situations.

This is Marshel, almost 2 year old mutt who isn't opposed to fetching a duck or two. His passion is going for long backpacking trips in the mountains.

fillthefreezer your pictures are killing me!I've had German Shepherds my whole life but recently decided to go with something smaller like a Border Collie because they would be easier to travel with and hopefully wouldn't scare the hell out of folks on the trail.Between your pics and my wife constantly showing me pictures of G.S. puppy's on the internet I think I'm breaking down.

Ive got 3 one border collie ,one blue heeler, and one border collie/blue heeler. (I dont stray much) I also have a passion for danes. Ive been thru 3. They are amazing but short life spans make it hard. Heres easton. The youngest of the bunch. She is a dock diving fool. Loves sheds and helping brand cattle. This dog will work herself to death if I let her. Her favorite spot is on the pool house. The roof is 9' high one jump off the brick wall and a crazy jackie chan move she makes it look easy. we used to breed them, scout is actually duke and sophie's puppy. i didnt want 3 dogs but he definately grew on me ;)
my wife has said she wants a border collie eventually (like 10yrs) as we go through about 6-8lbs of dog food a day

these dogs have been to many a hotel room as well, usually we pick a pet friendly hotel and pay their fee(1 dog) and bring them in 1 at a time 8)

Great thread. It's fun to see the variety that everyone has.

I'm a sucker for labs, so the waterfowl hunting pics I really enjoy.
