K2 has a simpler titanium frame. The titanium tube is basically just bent at each upper corner and then is slightly narrower at the bottom then the top and runs right along the outer edge of the frame. Tubes are about 9-10” apart at bottom and about 12” wide up top at the bends. Post a pic of the frame without the bag. I now have a 2017 k2 in ranger green and kind of regret selling my 2016. The 2017 and newer have wider shoulder straps and imho they are too wide and cause noticeably more sweat. If you are 6’2” 220 or bigger, you may like the wider straps. I just had to have that damn ranger green! I custom installed a kifaru duplex belt for the ultimate frame setup. My 2016 k2 with kifaru duplex belt in coyote was the best frame I have ever had, just got bored with coyote.

I do not want any wider straps. Glad you said this. Wonder what chances are me finding a 5500 bag to fit this frame
