Sara’s first deer ever. She calls him a unicorn because one of the buttons where breaking the skin. She shot the deer at 24 yards with her Hoyt Ruckus set on 38 pounds she got a complete pass through and the deer went less than 40 yards. Georgia public land quota hunt. I made a thread in the live hunt section. We had a great adventure if anybody is interested in the whole story.

I took this young guy hunting. He had only killed a spike so he was looking for anything. We sat on public land on some good sign and not 10 minutes later this guy came through at 25 yards. I think we both nearly fell apart. By far one of the coolest hunts I have been on.

After 3 years of chasing this buck we nicknamed “Ghost” he finally gave us enough of a look to get him with an ethical shot at an easy 70 yards with the rifle. having the chance to harvest a 185 1/4” native South Texas low fence buck of this quality with such a typical frame. As crazy as his score was, his dressed weight was 195lbs.

which pic are you entering. per the rules, 1 pic per buck. Please edit.

Great buck by the way, and I'd guess 195lbs is big for Texas?

Robby I fixed the post. 195 dressed is a monster where we are. He topped our scale that stops at 250 undressed. Had two other bucks weight near that too. We have had a real green years this year and last year due to good rain so it must be paying off.

November 6th, Minnesota. I love a good snow storm during archery season. I grunted this buck and another shooter into the base of my tree at 8am that morning. They postured up and started circling each other, but ended up behind my stand in some thick brush that didn’t give me much of a chance for a clean shot. I decided to sit tight for the day, then around 3pm 2 does come by with this guy close behind them. He presented me with a perfect shot at 24 yards, and watched him tip over after only making it 30 yards.18DA6AA6-25B5-48AE-BE35-5652BCA029B1.jpeg
