looks like some of the prettiest country to hunt on the planet too! that right there gives me second thoughts about velvet bucks.... on one hand, that deer will be so dang cool looking in late Oct on, but that terrain may make up for it.... as well as the weather. great buck!

another cool thing about that country is the lengths you have to go to get there.... that picture could be very misleading to some eyes, haha.

Mounted my 2020 blacktail, in another week or so he will be dry enough to do the finish work and painting

He fills his tag every year. He likes my Buck Steaks and Gravy!
This is a big bodied buck for our area, coastal A zone.
