Alright, this is getting real.

Off to the basement to shoot....

It was 79 in central Texas again yesterday. I was wearing shorts.
A week ago it was sub 10.
I'm ready but not prepared. April should give me a pretty good jump on practicing.

@robby denning this gives me anxiety that we’re already talking about the CBC! I haven’t even cleaned the elk blood off my bow from the last time I shot her in September then threw her in my archery room! This year is sneaking up on me!

that’s why we do it brother. Forces us all to start shooting earlier. I know it’s helped me a ton. Even though I’ve had to shrink my MER.

I’ve lined up a coaching session with an archery coach. Hopefully this CBC 2021 and the seasons to follow will no better for me
Still a lot of snow here but melting fast.

Got a foot of snow last night in Colorado. I guess that dust off will have to wait!

Thinking about this today. I don't know if I will do the CBC this year or not, it will depend on how it falls with what shoots I'm planning on doing. Also right now I'm not planning on a western hunt this year, Robby please don't ban me. I'll likely only be doing eastern whitetail.


In the spirit of whitetail, if I do the challenge I'll probably setup a stand and shoot from it with my harness and everything. Likely a climber so I will rotate positions everyday.

Just figured I'd pass this on. Any of you wallow sitters might do the same.

He’s a stud and I’m very thankful for a high level guy who is humble enough to meet up with a knuckle dragger like Mee.
You can’t see your blind spots if you don’t get help. We’ll see if I improve.
