On the evening of October 1st, 2020 after two years of game cam pictures, I finally got to see my target buck ”in person”, and he turned out to be bigger than I thought. He came in at last light and presented a quartering away shot at 29 yards, and due to other deer hanging around, I stayed in the stand for over an hour before looking for my buck. Fortunately, it wasn’t a long track. He was down within 45 yards of where he was hit. He is my best buck to date....19 points, 183” gross and 280 lbs live weight.

Nice buck!

where about do you hunt? I have a place NW of ardmore, and had been on a place last year north west of marietta, some good deer in those areas. I know OK has some good pockets for big deer. Not looking for specifics, just round about, feel free to PM if you want.
