Cool pics. I've come across a few interesting tree carvings out in the woods. They got me interested enough to start reading a book called The Woolly West: Colorado's Hidden History of Sheepscapes. It's about shepherding in Colorado and talks about the tree carvings they left behind, among other things. Interesting read if you are curious about some of the history around the public lands we all spend time on.
