My RX5 is on it's way. I'm excited to try it out. Have heard great things, and of course there are always nay-sayers. Trying to decide on sticking with my proven rest and sights or trying the integrated rest and front mount sights.

Anyone have input on the integrated vs traditional rests?
I have the integrated test on my Axius Ultra. I don't notice anything different with the mounting as far as performance or anything else.

But I can say the micro adjustments on the rest are super easy to use, have never needed adjustment since and the rest has functioned perfectly since I got it.

It was easy to mount, set up and tune too.

I just setup up a ventum 33. Only shot it a little but my bareshafts seem to be flying well with fletched at 20 Still need to fine tune it. But mine might not need to shim

Nice! What’s the bow and arrow specs?
Ventum 33 at 75 lbs. 27.5 inch draw. Shooting a 26 inch .300 spine Easton arrow with 210 grains up front.

Pic of shot at 50 yards. Bareshaft not too bad.

Gonna dial in my sight pins and then shoot some fixed blades

I’d really like to shoot one since reviews have seemed so good but my local shop has yet to get a single 2021 Hoyt. Last time I asked they said they have several in order with no clue when they will show up

Shot this morning before work. Took 1 shot from 82 yards, 91 yards, 71 yards, and 52 yards! Ventum 33 seems to be shooting good! I think Hoyt did good this year!

That would be on the verge of unacceptable to me. Every year the wait time on Hoyts seems to get longer.
Yeah definitely thought about it but I’d like to support my local shop so I’ll wait it out...they mentioned customers that ordered Mathews bows in Nov just recently got theirs so I guess it’s not only Hoyt

Yes, we are in a pandemic and supply chains are being widely impacted.

Hoyt is having a hard time finding labor. Believe it or not when you pay people to sit on their ass it doesn’t motivate people to work. They put a billboard up along the highway I drive to work saying they are hiring...... never seen that before and I’ve lived near the hoyt facility my whole life.

I just picked up the shim tool and few shims to try and correct a little right tear. My shop didn't sell me the whole spacer kit, just a couple of each size, the tool is cool.

Anyone have a link to the shim kit? Wondering if the Lancaster shim kit would work?
I used the Lancaster shim kit. Worked great. It has more sizes than the Hoyt kit

here is a group from 115 yards tonight. Decided to shoot far for the fun and see how it groups
