First bear hunting with buddy! Colorado early rifle season. Acorns everywhere gave us a chore in finding a good concentration of bear. Couldn't be happier, even after packing out 4 miles.

Color phase fall bear out of Washington. 9+ mile pack out was the most physically challenged I’ve ever been (for context I ran an Ultra 2 weeks prior to this hunt). After blowing a stalk that morning this one was a gimme! I believe I taped the skull at 17 inches
