2022 Puffy Jacket

I've lost my old REI primaloft puffy jacket with zip off sleeves. I had it 12 years. Lots of new options. I'm leaning synthetic I guess. You can't have the weight of down and the durability of synthetic. What are the best choices today? available this fall? I'd rather not support liberals with the purchase.

I just concluded a search for a heavish down puffy. A lot of my result was driven by fit And trying to fill a specific role.

for synthetic, I have owned a few. For hunting brands, I am most partial to my Sitka kelvin lite.

One of the few areas I go outside the hunting realm. I've owned a bunch of puffies. 15 years ago when marmot was using 900 down and no coating, that was tops. Today, I'm all arcteryx. Superior to the sitka and kuiu stuff I've tried.
