2022 spring bear

Looking to take my 70 year old father on a black bear hunt. He lives in Minnesota so a trip into Canada might be easiest. Any advice on an outfitter?

Why not just hunt Minnesota in the fall? Plenty of bears and outfitters up north.

I had been chatting with a Canadian outfitter for spring bear when Covid hit. Kept in touch, expressing my interest to hunt this coming spring. Luke warm reception to say the least. Time to start looking elsewhere.

If you’re looking in Canada I’d look at high impact outfitting. Garrett kills a lot of big bears every year. This was the bear I killed with him in spring 2019. You can reach him at 780-237-7705
