I know there will be mixed opinions but I really like my 22-250 for a kids deer/antelope gun. But I am in search of a bonded bullett that is small enough to be stabalized by a 1:14 factory barrel. I tried the 64 grain acubond and after a lot of effort I gave up.

Any ideas on a decent bullett?

Sierra’s 63 gr. SMP is designed for a 1:14 twist. Not bonded, but might work ok. Trying it in my .222

No experience but I'd try a 55gr Speer Gold dot. I love the 75gr in my faster twist 223

Nosler Bonded Solid Base. It has the ballistic efficiency of a pillow, and that’s being generous. It’s discontinued but I’m sure you can find them in various classifieds on gun forums.

The nosler bonded base is what I tried to make work...and failed.

The speer gold dot looks interesting. Probably give this a try.

However of the ideas above the Hammer bullet seems to meet the design mark but hunting deer with a 35 grain bullet.....seems wrong doesn't it?
