22 Creedmoor Build

I am wanting to build a 22 Creedmoor. I have a 6.5 Creedmoor Howa 1500 action for a donor. Do I just need to buy the prefit barrel chambered in 22 Creed? Im going to put it in a MDT LSS chassis. Any input is appreciated!!

Build turned out well. I have put 10 rounds through it to get it dialed in and zero’d. Haven’t shot for groups yet. Ran out of time. Very little recoil. 22-250 like recoil. Gun is VERY LOUD!

Built off a Tikka 6.5 Creedmoor donor action. Barrel is a stainless 20” .750 taper less 1:7” twist prefit by Preferred Barrels. MDT LSS Chassis. SAS Tactical offset radial muzzle brake. Vortex Diamondback Tactical 4-16x44.

Shot 80 grain ELD-M’s on initial sight in. Have Unknown Munitions making me some rounds with 73 grain Hammer Hunters.

That’s great. I have a 22 creedmoor as well. Mine is a fierce carbon rival with a 22” barrel. They are a lot of fun and zero recoil.

Nice! I have the exact same barreled action setup chambered in 25 creedmoor. If yours mimics what mine does, you're gonna love it.
