25-06 question

Question for you all. So I recently picked up a 25-06 barrel for my encore pro hunter. Accuracy is outstanding with a few factory loads I ran through it so far. I’ve had really good shooting with ELD-X 110s, Barnes TTSX 100s, and Berger VLD 117s. I tried the 120 partitions but didn’t get the best groups along with the CoreLokt PSP. I’d like to use this for deer and as always elk can be anywhere so something that can do a good job on an elk at 300 and under. Would the ELD-X fit that bill or are they similar to the way the VLD performs? I’ve killed a good bit of stuff with VLDs but it’s been in 7mm and 30cal.

Love the 25-06. If it were mine, and bull elk to 300 were on the menu, I’d go 100 TTSX, 110 Accubonds, or 115 Partitions.

I use 119 SST in my 25-06 and it has not failed me on any deer I have hit with it. I don’t get great blood trails with it, but honestly I haven’t needed one yet.
