If that rear action screw hole is from the factory, I'm appalled. Looks like a drill bit got bounced around!

Yeah, I'm not sure what that is about. That's why I took a real up close picture. I didn't notice it or the slight coloring on the rear of the left side of the trigger guard when I picked up the rifle at purchase. The rest of it feels and looks like new.

That rear screw hole is disappointing, but not knowing Ti maybe it's an artifact of that metal? Either way, if I were looking for a .260 this rifle would be at or near the top of my list.

My TI 300 SAUM looks just like this on the rear action screw. Awesome rifle at a good price.

Thanks for the insight. I didn't know titanium was that much different to deal with. Nice rifle in any event.
