WTB .280 Ackley Improved Ammo (PLEASE)

6 months ago I ordered a new mountain rifle, and I got notification that it shipped today.

It's a Weatherby Backcountry 2.0 Ti... super pumped to get it. It's in .280 AI... except I have no ammo. I've had notifications set for months but haven't seen any come up.

Anyone have any .280 AI factory ammo they'd be willing to part with? A box or two would be sufficient!

Copper creek ammo has several loads. They are awesome to work with, and the prices are very competitive these days. $80 per box, but the advantage is you can get a load development kit if you want to get picky.

My Kimber shoots 280 Rem pretty respectably. Midway has some Remington branded ammo in stock right now.

My Kimber also shot the 280 ammo well. Its worth picking up some 280 just to get some shooting in. In a pinch the 280 ammo will kill just as well.

Sgammo has 280 remington for like $45 per box. 280ai is really expensive. I got 2 boxes of Noser 140 BT last week for $150 on gunbroker. Saw 2 boxes of Federal 280 ai go for $300 last week on gunbroker.

Ridic! I'd definitely go with .280 Rem for now. If you plan to reload, you can start your AI brass collection.

Most every sporting goods store around here has 280AI ammo, it’s all the common stuff they are out of.
