3/4 Ton with Camper Shell Question

You all with 3/4 tons, can you fit your atv under the camper shell if you wanted to haul it. I have the diamondback, but considering switch over to camper shell, if atv will fit under it. For reference it's only a base 420 foreman or 300 fourtrax. Thank you for the feedback.

I have a 3500 ram. I don’t think an atv would fit in my leer topper. Maybe if I deflated the tires, turned the handlebars down and lifted the topper when driving the atv in, it may fit.

You should measure the height from the bottom of your bed to about 3-4” below the top of the truck roof. That should give you a good idea as to the clearance at the gate with the topper on. Once you clear the gate, you gain that height back.

You could also look at those raised height toppers, but you don’t see many of those new anymore.

They make camper shells that raise up for this purpose but they are expensive and probably murder your gas mileage when driving in the elevated position.
