Don't forget the good ole purpose-built "Trophy Bear Claw" from Federal.

If you have the reloading components, Federal does have the bullets in stock on their web site.

It's now called Terminal Ascent or some such. This is an exceptionally good bullet IMO.

For posterity in case the question is posed/searched again...

Just wrapped up a bear hunt on the White Mountain Apache tribe lands where I used Barnes factory 300 TSX in 375 H&H. I had a broadside (front shoulder slightly forward) just short of 100 yard shot taking both lungs leaving a half dollar size exit wound on a 7 foot sow- likely 10 to 13 years old if I were to guess.

The bear was recovered 3 feet from where it was shot and everything internally within 6 inches of the entrance site was complete jelly. Absolutely devastating damage with very little adverse impact to the hide.

I can't speak to further distances, but my single experience was extremely positive.
