300 PRC load recommendations needed please

Hello,

New to Rokslide and to the 300 PRC. Just picked up a Christensen Arms Ridgeline Titanium. The only available ammo I can find is Hornady Match 225g. While it shoots OK and will give me some much desired fireformed brass, I'm really curious as to the best loads everyone has found.

I think a 1:8 barrel is standard at 24" long. Also, I see H1000 is being a great powder. But, for hunting out to 600 yds do you tend to stick to the mid weight (180-200g) bullets?

I had good luck with the Barnes 200 gr lrx over H1000. Would function perfectly out to 600 yds.

I’m shooting 245 bergers with n570 @2940 with excellent accuracy out of CA Mesa LR. Was Berger’s recommended max and used tmb tuner

Thanks to everyone giving some insight on this cartridge. I just received my dues and bullets. Said to say that supply is still greatly limited for bullets. But I found some ELD’s in 208 grain. I’d love to try some Bergers as I’ve had good success in other calibers. I’ll report back how the load develop goes. Thanks again!
