My bow is 64-65 lbs switchback xt
28.5 drawer
400 grain total
100 point,12 grain insert,10 or 20 grain fact weight,3 blazers
Arrow can be cut anywere from 27.25-28.5
Approximately 260-270 fps
I have always used velocity xt 340s that are cut 28 1/4 insert to throat of nock. They work good and i have 11 new shafts to make up.I need to order another dozen soon and curious if i would benefit if i went to a 300 spine.

With that bow you are probably fine with the 340's.

300 spine will be a little more durable, heavier of course.

I assume it has tuned fine with the 340's before?

FWIW qSpine says you're already on the stiff side with 340's. I see no reason to switch to 300 spine unless you're wanting to put significantly more weight on the front.

Bow inputs: 315 fps IBO, 65# DW, 28.5" DL, 31" ATA, 7.5" BH, 65% LO
Arrow inputs: 28.25" C2C, 100 gr point, 12 gr insert, 20 gr FACT, three 6.5 gr vanes, 8 gr nock

I get alittle overwhelmed when it comes to some of the arrow stuff now days and wanted to ask because i know some of you really dig into the details.I have had very good luck with these tuning.
I am thinking about trying out the lower profile heat vanes for a tac event this year, they do weigh the same as the blazers though.
