300 win mag barrel length 24-26

24 is perfect all around. Especially for weight and cases

I was dead set on a 300 win w factory brake and really like the Hells Canyon Xbolt but the 26 inch barrel just seemed crazy long to me so I bought the 300wsm with the 23 inch barrel.

My Rem 700 has a 26" barrel and with the brake it is just shy of 28". I dont notice any issues with it in the brush. With the brake installed it has less felt recoil the my 30-06. I can sit and plink with it all day .
