I’ve used the 180 accubonds on two bull elk with full recovery once (330 yards) and exit through far shoulder on the second (250 yards). No complaints

Exactly what I would expect.

162 grain absolute hammer looks insane. With Hammers anything in that 150-166 grain range is on my target list. Light fast 5 projectiles.

It will be nice when Steve gets some load data going.
Have you checked out the Hammer loads thread on LRH? Lots of loads in there to look at that guys have posted up.

For sure. I have a post there but no responses.
Not a lot of 30-06 data. Doesn't seem to be the popular cartridge. :)

Never actually taken my WM hunting but I've had a couple and one has had a couple barrels.

215 bergers for now, 212 eldx, 200.20x bergers would be my next choices.

The 190g Long Range Accubond has been a real winner for me. Shoots great out to 800 (that's as far as I practice, but haven't shot elk past 450) and I haven't had anything but quick kills on elk or mule deer.

200 gr Accubonds mostly the last 12 years. Have been working up some loads with the 190 LRX in one of them and some 205 Bergers in another. Those bergers shot .2 inch groups so Im having a hard time not using them.
