Built April 2018
-fluted Bartlein barrel, 1:10 twist, #6 GAP contour, 24 inches, threaded with protector ($980)
-Templar .312” lug
-factory Rem 700SA was trued/blueprinted (new gun was $850)
-fluted bolt with M-16 extractor installed ($200)
-threaded bolt knob with new knob ($100)
-Widden Gunworks custom full length sizing die from once fired brass ($200)
-Timney trigger ($150)
-HS Precision stock, glass bedded ($300)
-Barrel broken in properly, 60 rounds through gun. Groups under 1” at 200 yards, at 100 yards all the bullets are almost through one hole. Has normal handling marks and safe rash from bumping other things in gun safe. (see pics)
-Caveat #1: the stock, I had a “friend of a friend” inlet the stock for Surgeon DBM and glass bed the action. I was under the impression he would CNC the inlet, instead he used a rotary and hand files, then backfilled with the glass bedding, so it looks very crappy. However, the gun shoots and that’s all I cared about. Therefore, I am selling this as a “barreled action with trigger”, but you get the stock too.
-Caveat #2: When GAP built it, they Ceracoated the barrel, thread protector and bolt, but forgot to Ceracoat the action. They shipped it back to me and said I could ship it back to have it redone, but I was over all the shipping back and forth and just kept it as it was.
-NO BOTTOM METAL INCLUDED (had Surgeon in stock, but I needed it for my PRC), Scope and base NOT INCLUDED
Selling because I just don’t shoot it enough after getting a 6.5PRC.
Your FFL must accept from non-FFL or extra shipping for my FFL's charge.
