H4350, 57.5gn pushes a 180TTSX at 3000 FPS
If you spit on them first they go fasterhave you actually chronoed this? Because im shooting 66.5g of H4350 and 168g Berger VLDs out of a 24in proof research barrel and getting 2950 of my Magneto Chrono
That seems awfully slow. And im not sure how the other guy got 3k with 180s with the charge as low as he states. Im getting 2960 with 64g h4350 and 180 accubonds and 66g with 168 e tips produced 3080fps. Thinking about going back to them and seeing how fast I can go with themhave you actually chronoed this? Is there much difference (accuracy or velocity) between H4831 & H4831sc ?

I have chronoed every load. Id like to find one using 165/168s going 3100. My 180s I've pushed to 3000+ but backed them off. Not sure if you're referring to me but i never stated I shot 180s @3100. That seems unrealistic unless like you said, a really long barrel was used.even the Sierra manual is estimating 3100fps with 67g of H4350 and a 165g bullet. I think some of you are spitting out velocities without running through a chrono honestly. This ain’t my first rodeo. Claiming you’re pushing a 180g pill to 3100 with less powder than I’m using with a 168g to get 2950fps is hard to accept. Unless your shooting a 30in pipe. But even then...

From what I've seen you should be at 3100 or better with 66.5g depending on your barrel. Are you using magnum primers?even the Sierra manual is estimating 3100fps with 67g of H4350 and a 165g bullet. What’s the powder of choice with heavy bullets like a 215?
So I have a 22” barrel 300 WSM in the works. Was planning on still using h4350. Are there any powders I should think about considering I’m using a shorter than normal barrel for this caliber?

Depends on bullet weight. 4350 will still be ideal with 180 and 165 class bullets.
That weight class is an option but I was also considering the 200 gr accubond or LRX. Probably nothing heavier.

What is the charge you're running with this load?Another vote for h4350. Barnes 168ttsx @3150 fps has been a wicked game getter.
