Ok I shot a few white tail and a mule deer buck with the only ammunition I could get, some Norma 150 white tail, I was kinda disappointed with the cup and core performance and found some loaded barns ttsx 130gr @ 3100fps , does anyone have any experience with them, or should I be looking at 150 & 165 loads, in ttsx & accubond
next season will probably be a repeat, with mule deer, white tail, and maybe a late season cow elk or nilgai cow hunt

I’ve killed a few deer and a goat with the 130gr. TTSX, but I have since moved up to the 150’s, for no other reason then, I like the idea of a little heavier bullet. I have yet to kill anything with the 150’s, but they group very well at the range, and I’m sure performance in the field will be just like all the other TTSX bullets that I’ve used. I’ve never Chrono’d my .308, but with the 18” tube, I know that I’m not getting anywhere near 3100 ft./s.

I saw 6 deer shot with the 150 TTSX this year, 100-350 yards. Performance was fine, five of them dropped and the other one stumbled downhill about 30 yards before piling up in the bushes. I haven't chrono'd them, but my drops tell me I'm getting about 2775 fps out of my 20" barrel.

I load them in a 300 savage for my wife and they've worked great on whitetails. I'd imagine they would work even better out of a 308 since monos like velocity.

I load them in a 30-06. They've taken pronghorn and elk here in Colorado. Haven't recovered a 130 TTSX yet, but based on many animals with many calibers, they will retain 100% of their weight. Get it to where it belongs from most sane angles and it's going to do the job for you.
