“launching 225gr Hornady SST bullets nearly 2,500 feet per second, enough to be effective on game past 900 yards.”

Yeah, I found that to be a stretch. I'm sending 225gr CE Raptors at 2600 out of mine and they're supposed to be reliable down to 1500fps, so that's about 650 or so. I kind of built that rifle around a 600 yard limit.

yeah, considering it’s easy to find external ballistics from a standard 308 that stomp a 225 SST at 2500 fps.

12.5k is a hell of a price to javenthat name on the side of the receiver. The sum is far more than the parts...far more.
Anyways, 900 yards is probably what their guys would shoot since they are super ethical on their hunts.

I am super interested in the caliber though. Off to do more research.

I just did some reading on the 338 rcm, never really looked at it before now. It’s a nice looking round.

I am curious how many guns they actually sell at $12,900.

Regardless of their pricing, they always sell out of their skunkworks stuff before they even finish making them.
