I own 300, 338 and 375 rigs. Yes the 300 vs 338 is close and the 338 vs 375 is close as well. I am at that point where I build a load for a very specific reason and purpose and rifle. I love all of them and would not hesitate to hunt anything on the continent with either of them. I just like and own them all. But then I also love my 264 WM so I am biased.
