.54 Cal Full Bore Conical Options

I’ve got an old TC Thunderhawk in .54 that’s been sitting quietly in the safe watching the .50’s get all of the action. It’s a 1:38 twist in a carbine barrel. The rifle checks in at about 5.5 lbs, so it’s a joy to carry, but not the most fun to shoot.

I used to shoot powerbelts out of it but have moved onto better options in the .50. Aside from No Excuses, are there any newer conicals (I’m in CO) worth trying? The .54 sure seems to have fallen out of favor in the last decade.

I would look at the Hornady Great Plains bullets. They get a lot of great reviews.

Bull shop and no excuses are tops that Iv found for conicals I shoot them in everything except my knight 52 cal.
