Happy to hear it. Great forum, as a Midwesterner with only one Montana hunting season under my belt I’m learning a ton on here in regards to public land hunting.

I am leary of new cartridges in today's setting based on availability. 6.5 CM is more readily available, for the most part, than the PRC.

The real question is, are you looking at a short bolt throw or balistics performance? If the later, there are other options based on load and bullet selection.

I wish somebody would develop a 120 gr high BC in .257 caliber. Be a kicker out of a .257-06...
