So I'm a novice in the reloading game and recently had a family member pickup 2 boxes of 143 gr eld x bullets and 2lbs of H4831 powder. I am sure I told them to pickup H4350 (from research seems to be the go to powder for 6.5) but this is what was brought back to me. Anyone have experience using this powder for 6.5 Creed? I didn't want to start the process if it would have marginal results and again I'm new to the game. Any info would be great. Thanks

Here is the load for Hodgdon site. When you are starting don’t aim for the fastest, hottest load. Start at the starting load, work your way up. I tend to lean a little towards 1-2 gr under max for a safety margin. Rarely is the fastest load the most accurate, it does happen but not that often.

Once I find a nice accurate load I tend not to mess with it trying for extra speed, especially this late in the year, low supplies.

How temp stable is the 4831? I have yet to find anything beat H4350, I hear Varget does but finding that is nothing but a dream.

No experience with h4831sc but as others have stated h4350 is the way to go. I have also had very good results with imr4451 but the enduron powders have been pretty tough to locate.
